New Opening Hours: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Beginning on May 5, 2025, SCTC will now open from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. This change will allow our staff to prepare for upcoming statewide DMV software updates, ensuring a smooth transition and continued excellent service.
Our Offices Provide Motor Vehicle & Driver License Services for Seminole County Residents Only
Our offices provide motor vehicle and driver license services for Seminole County residents only. Concealed weapons permits, birth certificates, hunting and fishing licenses and self-service tag renewal kiosks are available to all Florida residents.
BTR Applications and Renewals
You can now apply for Business Tax Receipts online or drop-off your physical application and check payment at any of our branch offices (payable to the Seminole County Tax Collector). Your application and payment will be forwarded to the Business Tax Department. Please allow 3 to 4 business days for processing.
Seminole County residents, you can use our self-service Florida MV Express kiosks to renew your vehicle registration.
